Can you buy a humanoid robot today?

Yes, but 'available to buy' can mean very different things. This guide separates normal consumer ordering from specialist hardware and robots that are still in development.

US pricing: $20,000 ownership or $499/month; no UK consumer price published

Foundational autonomy plus scheduled Expert Mode for tasks NEO does not yet know

The clearest current home-humanoid consumer proposition, but buyers need a clear split between autonomous tasks and work that still uses Expert Mode.

Figure reports Helix 2.5 whole-body autonomy across three tasks in 30 unseen homes; independent evidence is still developing

One of the strongest home-focused humanoids to watch. Helix 2.5 adds a useful manufacturer evaluation across unfamiliar homes, but it covers three bounded behaviours, reports 56% complete-task success and is not independent consumer testing.

Research/development platform capabilities should not be confused with dependable general household autonomy

A strong benchmark for the cost and capability of buyable humanoid hardware, but not a turnkey domestic service robot.

Development target is a general-purpose autonomous humanoid

Potentially category-defining, but today it belongs in the future-product column: there is no normal consumer buying route to compare with current retail products.

Yes: 1X NEO has a consumer order path

1X currently accepts a refundable deposit for NEO and says US deliveries begin in 2026. That makes NEO more than a concept or company trial, but it still does not mean every household task will work autonomously from day one.

UK note: NEO's current order page states US deliveries from 2026. RightRobot is tracking UK availability separately and does not treat a US preorder as UK availability.

Yes, but different: Unitree G1 is buyable hardware

Unitree's official store lists G1 at US$13,500 and currently marks it backordered. UK buyers should treat that as an overseas store price before shipping, tax and import costs. G1 is humanoid hardware you can buy, but not a ready-to-use home-helper service.

Not yet normal consumer purchases: Figure 03 and Tesla Optimus

Both companies have shown humanoids that could eventually be useful at home, but neither currently gives consumers the same straightforward way to buy as NEO. Their buying status should change only when the products themselves become easier to purchase.
