1X NEO vs Tesla Optimus: which is actually closer to your home?

The biggest difference right now is not height, payload or AI branding. NEO has a published consumer order path; Optimus does not. That makes a conventional spec-table winner misleading.

The comparison in one glance

This is a useful traffic page because it captures a huge search idea while keeping the answer honest: one is closer to being a household product today, the other may be bigger long term.

Foundational autonomy plus scheduled Expert Mode for tasks NEO does not yet know

The clearest current example of a humanoid being sold as a home product, but its useful autonomy needs to be separated carefully from remotely assisted task completion.

Potentially category-defining, but it should be shown as a future option rather than compared as though consumers can buy it today.

NEO's advantage: a real consumer proposition

If your question is which one can I place an order for as a home user, NEO is ahead. Its harder question is capability maturity: how much useful work will Early Access units perform reliably and autonomously?

Optimus's potential advantage: scale — but that is still future-facing

Tesla's manufacturing ambition and general-purpose robotics program could eventually make Optimus hugely important. RightRobot should not convert that potential into a present-tense consumer score before there is a product consumers can actually evaluate and buy.
